BRUSH
The Texas-Montana Cattle Trail, which began in 1866 in the panhandle area of Texas and continued north to the grazing lands of eastern Montana, followed a route that passed through the area along the banks of Beaver Creek in northeastern Colorado. Along this creek a supply point was established to service the trail crews; it came to be known as "Brush." By the time the 20th century came along in 1900, this small supply station on the cattle trail had grown to become an established community.

EMPIRE
Empire is in Clear Creek County, Colorado, United States. The population was 355 at the 2000 census. The town is a former mining settlement that flourished during the Colorado Gold and Silver Boom in the late 19th century. It is located in the valley Clear Creek west of Denver, on the north side of the valley. U.S. Highway 40 passes through the town as its ascends towards Berthoud Pass, putting the town on the direct route between Denver and Middle Park.

ENGLEWOOD - Englewood Colorado Lodging
William Russell and 12 other miners found gold in the South Platte River, and established a Placer Camp near the confluence of Little Dry Creek and the South Platte River in an area that would eventually become Englewood. This Placer Camp washed out more gold than they had found in all their previous prospecting, and triggered the beginning of the Pikes Peak or Bust gold rush of 1859.

WELLINGTON -
Wellington is a few miles north of Fort Collins on Colorado's high plains, and has traditionally been an agricultural community. Population growth along Colorado's Front Range region has seen a lot of growth in the last decade or so and Wellington right along with it. Founded in 1902, the town is named for C.L. Wellington, an employee of the Colorado and Southern Railroad.

WHEAT RIDGE - Wheat Ridge Colorado Lodging
Wheat Ridge was founded by homesteader Fred Baugh as a community in 1859.
